Orange-Chocolate

Ingredients
- 200gButter, softened
- 200gSoft light brown sugar
- 250gPlain flour
- 1 tspBaking powder
- 5gGuittard Cocoa Rouge
- 2Eggs
- 1 tspVanilla extract
- 50gWalnuts crushed
- 200gGuittard Extra Dark Chocolate Chips
- Zest of one orange

In a large mixing bowl whisk the soft butter until fluffy and pale, add the brown sugar, and then whisk again until well incorporated. Add half the flour with the baking powder and cocoa powder and mix well. Add the eggs one at a time, the vanilla, the orange zest and then mix well. Add the rest of the flour, walnuts and chocolate pieces and mix well.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and take a rounded teaspoon of mixture and put on the tray. Make sure to space each spoonful at least 5 cm apart, place into a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 10 minutes. Remove when they start to turn slightly brown on the edges. Carefully lift each cookie on to a wire rack to cool.
