Soft and scrumptious banana bread, perfect to share!
¾ cups [90g] unsifted all-purpose flour
½ cup [60g] spelt flour
½ tsp [3g] baking soda
½ tsp [2.5g] salt
½ cup [110g] unsalted butter
1 cup [200g] granulated sugar
3 [325g] ripe bananas
2 [100g] eggs
½ cup [55g] chopped walnuts (optional)
1 cup [170g] Guittard Milk Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350°. Butter and flour a 9”x5”x3” loaf pan. In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar, until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Beat in the bananas and the eggs, one at a time, until well combined but still chunky. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until just combined. Fold in the walnuts and chocolate chips, pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before releasing.
